Half Year Report – Ambleside Fishing Club

The club has now reached the midway point through the season as we have now fished six different venues throughout Warwickshire.

Whilst Dave (103) has won two of the six outings his non appearance or poor showing at some of the others means he is in sixth position at the moment. The top two league positions are held by the father and son combination of Colin (148) and Simon Waters (110). Paul Wormington (109) and Steve Donovan (105) are following closely. With a maximum 30 points up for grabs at each fish the league is far from won or lost, unless you happen to be Craig Stevens who has amassed a mammoth (19) points and lies firmly rooted to the bottom of the league.

As we move on to the last five events, we will be paying £10 per event to cover fees and prize money this will be payable on the day. Details of our next match are shown below. The September event will be at Five Ways, Wolvey.
